Thomas Cook first to launch summer 17 holidays with new destinations
Thomas Cook is the first major tour operator to launch summer 17 holidays, with eight new brochures featuring 10% more capacity on holidays than this summer, including three new destinations across the Thomas Cook, Airtours and Signature from Thomas Cook brands.
Introducing hot new destinations including Croatia, Mykonos and going back in to Costa Del Sol, as well as offering more choice in destinations such as Spain, Portugal and the USA, there will be more summer holidays on offer than ever before.
With an increased focus on Thomas Cook branded Hotels & Resorts, the new brochures will also include many new flights covering short, mid and long haul destinations.
With savings that are consistent whether booking in-store, online or by phone in line with Thomas Cook’s Price Parity policy. Early booking offers include 100,000 Kids from £1 across selected Thomas Cook and Airtours Summer 2017 properties.

New destination: Croatia
From May 2017, Thomas Cook will be introducing holidays to Croatia with a choice of 15 hotels (two exclusive) and twice weekly Thomas Cook Airlines flights to Split from Manchester departing every Monday and Friday. This popular hotspot, famed for its stunning scenery and natural beauty is home to eight National Parks, as well as over a thousand islands with gorgeous beaches. The beautiful island of Brac is one such gem and is where the new 4* SENTIDO Kaktus is located, just 70m from the beach. Surrounded by lush green vegetation with a spa offering a range of treatments, it’s the perfect spot for couples looking for ultimate relaxation.
New destination: Mykonos
Known as the Greek answer to St Tropez, this authentic Greek island offers a fantastic mix of relaxing beaches with world-famous nightlife, even the Kardashians are fans. From May 2017, Thomas Cook Airlines will offer two flights a week every Thursday and Sunday from Manchester direct to the island, and will be the only UK tour operator serving a range of boutique accommodation options on a self-catering or bed & breakfast option. Ideal for an adult-only getaway the island offers a sophisticated holiday, with stunning sandy beaches, crystal blue seas and stylish restaurants and bars. The 3.5* Acrogiali Hotel is set on the beach close to Mykonos Town and is ideal for a relaxing break in style.
New destination: Costa Del Sol
The original package holiday destination, the Costa Del Sol has long been a British favourite and from May 2017, Thomas Cook will be back with two weekly flights from Manchester every Wednesday and Saturday. With seven properties currently with more to come, available throughout four key resorts including Puerto Banus, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola, it’s a great choice for both couples and families to get a taste of traditional Spain. Thomas Cook’s own branded 3* smartline Los Jazmines on the promenade in Torremolinos is close to the beach and will have been completely refurbished.
New: Short, mid and long haul routes from airports across the UK with Thomas Cook Airlines
Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that it will operate a host of new routes for Summer 17 available for flight-only as well as package holidays available through Thomas Cook and Co-operative Travel stores. The airline also will launch the first flights from London Luton, with weekly flights to Majorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Corfu now available. Manchester continues to be TCX’s major hub, with a 9% increase in flights from the airport, helped by the launch of new routes to Split, Mykonos and Malaga. Newcastle airport has also seen a 9% increase in flights to Paphos and Reus, while Glasgow sees a 3% increase in routes with two weekly flights to Alicante added.
